Welcome to my blog: it’s the [cyber] jungle out there!

Yes, you probably guessed it correctly. I kinda stole the name of one of the most iconic songs from Guns N’ Roses and used it as the title for my welcome post. This is indeed a crazy start considering that this is the welcome to my blog post of my cybersecurity blog.

FYI, I’m not a cybercriminal and I don’t steal stuff. I just like the song, and I really hope the Guns N’ Roses won’t sue me for this.

The billion-dollar question: why starting a blog on cybersecurity anyways? There are probably thousands of them all over the internet. Well, I like all things cybersecurity. From offense to defense, and everything in between. And the truth is that I’m always learning from others. So, I decided that I wanted to contribute in the same way.

want to share my knowledge and experience with y’all internet friends. After all, it’s a cyber-jungle out there, gotta help each other and learn how to be cyber-safe. Yeah, I know. So cliché. Regardless, welcome to my blog.

But for real, let’s think about it for a moment. The Internet is the place where you can find almost anything you may imagine, from useful content like cybersecurity blogs and research papers to a never-ending supply of cat memes and free porn. Stuff you can enjoy, I guess.

Unfortunately, as amazing as the Internet can be when used properly, it can potentially be a not-so-cool place to be at. You will always be a target of cybercrime if you don’t know what’s up. My cybersecurity blog aims to help you navigate this crazy cyber-jungle. That’s the real reason we’re here for, we gotta learn how to avoid becoming a victim.

And without further due, I wish y’all beautiful terrestrial beings a warm welcome to my sometimes-insane-world. Welcome to my cybersecurity blog. Let’s begin.
